Overhaul Mods
Overhaul mods are not tweaks. They are new games built on Kenshi's bones — and they expect you to know the originals.
Total conversions that rebuild factions, items, regions and balance. A second Kenshi inside Kenshi.
What This Covers
Overhaul mods substantially rework the game — new factions, items, regions, recipes and balance. Genesis, Kaizo and Universal Wasteland Expansion are the headline examples.
Compatibility
Overhauls touch almost everything and rarely combine cleanly. Run one major overhaul, load it low in the order, and add only small mods known to be compatible.
Beginner Friendliness
Not for first-time players. Overhauls assume you understand vanilla systems and often raise difficulty or complexity. Finish a vanilla run first.
