A Shek is a fighter before they are anything else. The wasteland made sure of that, and so did the Holy Nation.

Wanderer's TipShek make outstanding tanks and heavy-weapon users. Start one in or near Shek territory to avoid early Holy Nation trouble.

Overview

The Shek are a tall, horned humanoid race with naturally high Strength and Toughness. They are the premier melee race in the game.

Strengths

Shek excel at combat — they take and deal punishment well, swing heavy weapons easily, and train into formidable front-line fighters faster than most races.

Weaknesses

The Holy Nation is hostile to the Shek, locking them out of the safe green centre. They are also less suited to non-combat utility roles.

Best Playstyles

Front-line tanks, heavy-weapon fighters, and Shek Kingdom-aligned squads. A poor pick for a Holy Nation playthrough.
