The fog is not weather. The fog is them, and they are always hungry.

Degenerated Hivers in the Fog Islands who swarm anything that enters their fog. They eat the living and the dead.

Overview

The Fogmen are Hivers whose minds have collapsed into a feral, ritualistic state. They infest the Fog Islands, worshipping the Fog Prince and dragging victims back to be devoured.

Gameplay Impact

The Fog Islands are one of the deadliest regions for an unprepared squad. Fogmen attack in endless waves, and a downed character is eaten alive — limbs first.

Joining & Reputation

No alliance is possible. Hiver characters are not spared. Killing the Fog Prince is a major mid-game achievement.

Military Strength

Fogmen are individually weak but attack with no fear and no end. Their crude weapons still kill a squad that gets surrounded and exhausted.

Best Uses

Best for: dangerous Toughness training, Fog Prince bounty, and access to Fog Island ruins. For experienced squads only.
