Hivers

A Hiver does not fit the wasteland's idea of "people". That costs them everything in some regions and nothing at all in others.

Insectoid people of caste and colony — fast, cheap to feed, but socially shut out of the Holy Nation.

Beginner WarningHivers are attacked on sight in core Holy Nation towns. Keep Hiver characters to Shek, Hive and United Cities country.

Overview

Hivers are insectoid humanoids divided into castes — Prince, Worker, Soldier Drone — each with distinct stat profiles. They originate from the Hive colonies.

Strengths

Hivers are fast, eat little (lower hunger drain), and certain castes have notable resilience. Soldier Drones make capable fighters and the Hive welcomes Hiver characters.

Weaknesses

The Holy Nation attacks Hivers on sight in core towns, and Hivers cannot wear standard footwear, limiting some boot options. They are socially the most restricted race.

Best Playstyles

Fast skirmishers, low-upkeep squads, and eastern Hive-aligned play. Avoid Holy Nation territory entirely.
