The Hive Friendly
A Hiver alone is curious and harmless. A Hive village defending its Prince is something else entirely.
Insectoid colonies in the eastern deserts, organised by Prince and worker castes. Peaceful traders if left alone.
Overview
The Hive is the collective of Hiver colonies — insectoid people organised into castes around a Hive Prince. Western and Southern Hive villages dot the eastern deserts, trading and farming.
Gameplay Impact
Hive villages are generally peaceful and will trade with most travellers. They make quiet, low-traffic neighbours. The Holy Nation, however, hates Hivers, which colours where Hiver characters can safely go.
Joining & Reputation
Trade fairly and Hive villages stay friendly. Hiver characters can recruit fellow Hivers and find a welcome the Holy Nation denies them.
Military Strength
Hive Soldier Drones are capable fighters and villages defend themselves, but the Hive is not an expansionist military power. They fight to hold, not to conquer.
Best Uses
Best for: Hiver-character recruitment, quiet eastern bases, and trade away from the major powers.
