Overview

The Second Empire rose in the long shadow of the Ancient civilisation and was, in its time, the dominant power — associated with Cat-Lon and a Skeleton-influenced order.

Rise And Fall

Like the Empire before it, the Second Empire collapsed, leaving ruins, technology and political fragments that modern factions grew out of.

Legacy

Many of the wasteland's ruins, items and faction grievances trace back to the Second Empire. Its fall is more recent and more legible than the Ancients'.

Why It Matters

Understanding the Second Empire connects Cat-Lon, the Skeletons and today's factions into a single, tragic chain of collapse.
