Stealth
Stealth is the skill that lets you win fights by never having them.
What It Does
Stealth governs sneaking — moving past enemies, slipping into towns, and setting up theft or assassination without being detected.
Hidden Effects
Stealth is influenced by lighting, distance, encumbrance and whether enemies are alert. Darkness and light loads make a stealthy character nearly invisible.
How XP Works
Stealth trains while you are actually sneaking near enemies — crouched movement around alert NPCs builds it steadily.
Best Training Methods
Sneak through patrolled towns at night, especially around guards, while crouched. It pairs naturally with Lockpicking, Assassination and Thievery training.
Common Mistakes
Trying to stealth in heavy armour and full encumbrance. Stealth builds want light gear and light loads.
