The Hub
The Hub is not a city so much as the rubble of one, propped up by people too stubborn to leave.
A half-ruined free town in the Border Zone — the unofficial starting point for countless wasteland careers.
Who Controls It
The Hub is an independent settlement with no faction overlord, sitting in copper-rich land in the Border Zone. That independence means no powerful protectors — and no powerful enemies.
Shops & Services
Basic vendors for food, weapons and tools, plus bars for recruiting wandering mercenaries. Stock is modest; the value is location, not luxury.
Defences & Dangers
There are no real town guards. Hungry Bandit packs raid the area constantly, and the Hub itself can be overrun. The copper nodes that make it useful also keep it dangerous.
Best Reasons To Visit
It is the classic first stop: cheap recruits, copper mining for starting cash, and a central position with roads to Squin and beyond.
“Toughness is trained by losing. Get downed where guards will save you, then heal and repeat.”
