Escaping Slavery Intermediate
A collar is a setback, not an ending. Some of the strongest characters in the game were forged in a slave camp.
If you are enslaved, train your stats in captivity, pick your moment, break the collar and run for friendly ground.
Captivity Is Training
Enslaved characters keep training. Forced labour builds Labouring and Strength; the harsh conditions build Toughness. Many players leave captivity stronger than they entered it.
Preparing To Escape
Build Athletics and combat stats while collared, and watch the guard patterns. Escape attempts are far safer once you can actually outrun and outfight the guards.
Breaking Out
Wait for guards to be distracted or thin, break for a fence or gate, and remove the collar once clear. Then run hard for the nearest non-UC friendly town.
After The Escape
You will be weak and wanted. Get to safe ground, heal, and clear your bounty or stay out of UC patrol routes until you are strong again.
“A bite from a slaver patrol is not the end — captivity trains Strength and Toughness.”
