Night Travel Guide Intermediate
Darkness hides you from some things and hides other things from you. Know which is which.
Night travel improves stealth and can avoid patrols, but reduces your sight and raises the risk of walking into predators.
Why Travel At Night
Darkness aids stealth and can let a squad slip past patrols and faction forces that would stop them by day. For stealth and outlaw play, night is an ally.
The Risks
Reduced visibility cuts both ways — you see threats later, and can stumble into predator territory or a bandit camp before you notice it.
Doing It Safely
Travel known routes at night, keep the squad together, and avoid crossing predator regions like Vain or the Gut in the dark.
Best Uses
Night travel suits stealth runs, smuggling and slipping past hostile faction territory. For ordinary travel through predator country, daylight is safer.
