Combat Mods
Vanilla Kenshi combat is good but clunky. Combat mods file down the clunk and, sometimes, raise the stakes.
Mods that retune fighting — animations, attack slots, damage and AI — for a sharper, fairer brawl.
What This Covers
Combat mods adjust attack slots, animation speed, damage values, weapon balance and enemy AI to make fights flow better or hit harder.
Compatibility
Combat mods that change core values can conflict with overhauls like Genesis or Kaizo, which already retune combat. Do not stack competing combat mods.
Beginner Friendliness
QoL-style combat mods (more attack slots, smoother animations) are beginner-safe. Difficulty-raising combat mods are not — learn vanilla first.
