Polearms hit first. Against Beak Things and in a shield-wall of allies, hitting first is hitting best.

Class Overview

Polearms are long-reach weapons that strike enemies before they close and hit multiple foes in a line. They excel in formation fighting and against large creatures.

Damage & Penetration

Polearms deal solid cutting damage with good reach. Their length lets a back-rank fighter contribute safely behind front-line allies.

Speed, Weight & Indoors

Moderate speed, but a heavy indoor penalty — the long shaft is clumsy in tight spaces. Polearms are an open-field weapon.

Best & Worst Situations

Best against large beasts, in the open, and from a protected second rank. Worst inside ruins and buildings.

Quality Tiers

Polearms scale to Meitou like other classes. A quality polearm is the safest way to put damage into a fight without standing in the front line.
